Kari is an Animal Behaviorist and Certified Canine Nutritionist. She is also a service dog handler and trainer for gluten-detection dogs. She is the founder of Wag & Train Dog Behavior & Nutrition, and has been a professional dog trainer for 30 years.  Kari was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2014. Her chocolate Labrador, Birdie, is a gluten detection dog who trained with Willow Service Dogs. Kari also completed an internship in gluten detection with Dawn Scheu, of Willow Service Dogs.
