About Kari
Kari Bastyr is an Animal Behaviorist and Certified Canine Nutritionist. She is also a service dog handler and trainer for gluten detection dogs. Kari trains gluten detection service dogs through her company, Celiac Service Dogs with virtual owner training instruction as well and Online Courses which she developed with Kendra Williams and Dawn Scheu. She is the founder of Wag & Train Dog Behavior & Nutrition, and has been a professional dog trainer for 30 years. Kari was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2013. Her chocolate Labrador, Birdie, is a gluten detection dog who trained with Willow Service Dogs. Kari also completed an internship in gluten detection with Dawn Scheu, of Willow Service Dogs.
